Partnerships

Shawl-Anderson Dance Center values being in community, collaborating, and uplifting colleagues. Current partnerships include:


• Black Choreographers Festival
• Family Matters/Elizabeth House
• Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival
• Saint Mary’s College BFA and MFA Programs

Past partnerships have included: Met West High School, AXIS Dance Company, and Cal Performances

Other valuable relationships and connections include:
• Berkeley Cultural Trust
• Local high school dance programs: Berkeley High School, El Cerrito High School, and College Prep

Community Donations

We are pleased to donate in-kind to local community auctions, fundraisers, and galas.  We contribute approximately $3,000 annually to schools and non-profit organizations throughout the Bay Area.If your organization is interested in requesting a donation, please fill out the request form below.
