Come Dance! Explore! Create! and Grow! in our half-day dance camp for ages 6-9. Dancers will dive into the four elements over the course of the week: fire, wind, earth, and water. These elements will be a window into various qualities and styles of dance. Each day begins with a modern or jazz DANCE class, warming up the body and developing dance technique. Each day dancers will EXPLORE a world dance form such as: fiery Flamenco, earthy Afro-Cuban dance, Hula
inspired by water and waves and Chinese Ribbon Dance inspired by wind. Each day dancers will then CREATE their own movement using the four elements, as well as building sound, set and costumes. While camp has a dance focus, we will use multiple modes of expression to have fun and GROW in our experience with the arts!
